Liver Telehealth Resource Guide
The term "telehealth" refers to a variety of ways to deliver clinical care or consultation, using telecommunication technologies including landline telephones, mobile phone applications, and video teleconferencing equipment. The purpose of this manual is to provide a step-by-step guide for helping providers use clinical video telehealth in liver care, including:
- Determining whether liver clinical video telehealth may be beneficial for their patient population
- Becoming familiar with the telehealth resources that already exist within their facility and Veterans Integrated Service Network (VISN)
- Planning and implementing a liver clinical video telehealth clinic.
